From where i can register my company in india for proprietary?

I am in translation and DTP business, plz let me know should i go for sole proprietary or pvt ltd. and there should always be option to add extra service like transportation, tour etc, dairy farm, after registartion can take participate in goverment tender? help me

  1. It need not be a private limited company.  The choice is yours.  You can have your own proprietorship concern or partnership concern or a private limited company. The procedures for floating a private limited company is long and expensive.  The most economical is proprietorship concern.

    Even, if you float a proprietorship concern, you can any business, there is no restriction of the kind of trade and the amount of turnover.

    No registration is required for proprietorship concern.  Only a declaration along with some documents to prove the identity and the place of business is sufficient along with Pan No and Vat No, and if you are providing any service, and if your income is above 8lakhs per annum, you should apply for service tax registration.
