From where is this currency?

I have some old paper money that I received from someone but I don't know where it's from. The amount on the bill is 50 and the writing appears to be Asian. There is a picture of what appears to be a volcano on one side. Could someone please identify this bill? I included a picture of the bill in the following link:

That is from Japan 1938. It's Mount Fujiyama. Check this link:
