  1. New York Americans?

  2. None

In 2002, a new scoreboard was installed in the Civic Centre (now named the XL Centre).  It was paid for by the owner of the arena, the Madison Square Garden group, but according to the following press release, the scoreboard is new.

Again, read the Press Release, it was bought by the "manager" of the Hartford Civic Centre, the Madison Square Garden group..........not by the New York Rangers (which is a totally separate legal subsidiary of the Madison Square Garden group).

So, the group that manages the Hartford Civic Centre also owns the New York Rangers.  But the New York Rangers DID NOT buy the arena's scoreboard.

This would be the same thing as saying that the Montreal Canadiens bought the scoreboard for the Liverpool soccer club because they both have an owner in common (George Gillette).   It just doesn't work that way

  3. I'm going to guess the Boston Bruins ?

  4. It's been a while and you opened the door I can't help it, sorry for resorting back to old ways after starting to become one of the worthy adversaries in this group....well....here goes it......"RANGERS SUCK"

  5. The Rangers need to leave Hartford, they are just murdering the hockey market there.
