    Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

    Also, there are two countries in in accession negotiations:

    Croatia and Turkey.

    There is one accession candidate:

    Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

    There are several countries considering applying for accession:

    Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia.

    There are three countries where membership was turned down or accession negotiations were frozen:

    Norway, Switzerland and Morocco.
