From your experience, am I pregnant?

Have had some brown spotting the last 3 days, but only twice (average) a day and only when wipe those 2 times each day.

Details:

*Just got of BC pill for good 7/27

*First day of last period: 7/30 (generally 28 day cycle)

*I assume I ovulated 8/13 or 14

*We did it 8/12-19 every day

Is the light/faint brown from my body getting over stopping the pill or pregnant? Since the pill regulated my period, I never thought about when I would start, and will I still be a 28 day cycle? I was on the pill for about 1 1/2 years before TTC starting last month.

  1. When you go off the pill your cycle can be really messed up. The spotting could be implantation bleeding. Wait a few weeks and take a test. I got pregnant after going off the pill. Only three weeks after conception we had a pos test result .. it was the first time we did it ... go figure. Just wait and if you get your period you know your not, if you dont take a test to see and either way you might want to see a doc and have them test you if you still havent gotten your period.

  2. You could very well be pregnant and having implantation bleeding. I had this with two of my kids. Many women get pregnant right after getting off of the pill. Best of luck!

  3. its possible that its implantation bleeding as the dates would be correct, but as you have only just come off the pill it will take a while for your cycle to settle back into a pattern and completely clear your body from the pill. i had 2 small bleeds around the same stage, and then found out i was pregnant. maybe take a test or give it a few more days this is the only way you can be sure, although be warned it could still be too early to tell as you would be 4 weeks and some people dont find out until 6 weeks. dont get your hopes up just yet incase your not but good luck and i hope you get the results you want.

  4. Sounds like u have a little one implanting its self :)

get ur self to the doctors for a chek up honey

congrats and all the best xox

  5. I experienced something like that in my first pregnancy. I told my doctor that I did have some spotting at a certain time and she told me that it is normal for you to be pregnant and spot at the time that it was expected for you menses to begin. It's kind of life your body forgot for a second that you're pregnant and wanted to start your period but remembered then held back lol. Take a breath ...then take a test :-)

  6. It could be spotting from stopping the pill.  As for the ovulation, not everyone ovulates on a set time.  My ovulation is anywhere from 14-19 days after my period is over.  (I chart)  You probably won't notice any signs or symptoms for another couple weeks if you are pg.

Sometimes it can take a month or so after coming off the pill, and sometimes you can get pregnant on the first cycle after!

    Good luck!

  7. sounds like implantation bleeding.

    congrats!

  8. Unfortunately there are really two possibilities here. One is that you're one of the lucky ones to get pregnant during the first cycle of birth control pills. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

The other possibility is that your body is changing due to going off bcps. The first two months for me after going off birth control were nuts. My cycles moved around from between 26-34 days and I had some spotting on and off that was just annoying.

So really, until you either miss or get a period, you can't totally be sure. Wish I could be more help, but everyone has a different experience after going off bcps.

  9. it sounds like your pregnant from my experience i went off BC in November TTC all of December my date of conception was December 14 and i am due in 2 weeks so i would say  wait about another week and then take a test if it says negative like my first one did wait another week and test again
