Front Seat Law in MI?

Question

Does anyone know how old you have to be to sit in the front seat of the car in Michigan???? I don't know whether to let my kids sit in front yet or not. Please help!!

I think it is 12 but not for sure, but do know if they are under 4ft 10 need to be in booster set, You can look it up in the seat belt law of Michigan, Good luck
