Front loading washing machines?

I am using a top loading washing machine since some time and I want to change it. This machine could not clean the collars of my s***s and also dirty jeans with soil stains. Though it was an upmarket model. It also leaves a lot of lint on the clothes. Will a front loading machine do better than this in these cases? I want your opinion before buying the front loader, and wanted to know if there are any limitations of the front-loaders as compared to top loaders.

There is only two things I don't like about my front loader.  1)  It took me a long time to get used to putting everything in the washer and then starting it up.  I was used to starting the top loader and then sorting through clothes or finding a piece of clothing and throwing it in real quick.  Can't do that with a front loader.  2)  If your floor is not perfectly level you will always have problems with your front loader being balanced.

My front loading machines work much better at removing stains than my top loading ever did, and it used much less water.  It can handle washing large bedspreads due to the additional space available without the center agitator.  That saves money on sending large items to the cleaners too.

I sometimes want to add one more thing to my washer and I can because my model has a pause button.  There isn't so much water in there at any time that it can't be opened to add one more thing.  A pause button is a good thing to look for in your new machine.

I am very happy with my front-loader washer.  I would never go back to a top-loader.  It uses 67% less water and a lot less soap.  Think of the savings in cost as well as to the environment!  Another plus is that it is gentler on your clothes, making them last longer.
