  1. Work on strengthening your ab muscles. If I remember correctly, and it's been a while since I could get up out of a backbend, it would usually require walking my feet in closer to my hands and rocking a little bit before standing. If you're doing a walkover the momentum should help you- don't stop when you get into a backbend position, use movement to kind of throw yourself forward. It takes some practice.

  2. alright, when you start the front walkover, reach out really far and keep a really long feeling and stretch to your body. If you reach out far enough it will make it really easy to pull on up. Hope this helped. Good luck.

  3. do a backbend by itself and learn how to get up just from that. then when u get to the backbend during the front walkover it'll be easy to you

  4. Your feet shouldn't be next to each other when they're in the bridge; one should be more in front than the other. This is a bad photo but you get the idea: http://images.jupiterimages.com/common/d... As soon as you have one foot on the ground you have to straight away bring your back up.

Seriously, walkovers are just practice, practice, practice. For some reason it took me over a year to get a solid walkover!

    I hope this helps :)
