I just bought a car (as is). It is a 91 Toyota Tercel. I herd a grinding and that car was sluggish, then i herd a pop and it stopped pulling so hard. i pulled off the interstate to inspect the noise but i couldn't fined any thing wrong. as i was pulling back on to the road my front wheels locked up hard with out warning. it wasn't the transmission i know that cause while i was tinkering with it (tiring to get off the interstate, i was right in the middle of a lane) i put it into gear and it would shift and try to go. after about 40 min it was freed up. i went about five miles going about 10mph and it started to make the grinding sound again so i pulled off the road and left it. I have no idea can it be the brakes, usually you can at least pull hard through them? I don't know please help
