  1. There are fewer reactions with Frontline than with Advantage.  But Frontline has been on the market longer, so some people are complaining that the fleas have become somewhat immune to it.  I prefer Frontline, but use both alternating monthly during the heaviest fleas seasons of May to Sept.

  2. advantix is the best. i use it and when i was a vet tech thats the only one i would tell people about. they all last a month.

  3. Either is good, but I have been using Advantix on all my dogs for years now and that prevents fleas and ticks.

  4. Frontline plus

  5. why not ask your vet about a new once a month pill called comfortis. It works great even in heavily infested areas and no messy residue on your pup or you.

  6. It really is animal specific.  Just like some people prefer Tylenol, and some Advil.

Frontline ended up not being nearly as effective on my BC.  I use Advantage, and I also trust Advantix (it's just pricier, and my pups are just as happy with Advantage).

Find which works best for your dogs chemisty.

Frontline had my boogers scratching in three weeks or less.  Advantage I can usually push to FIVE!

  7. I prefer the frontline plus because as soon as it was on my dog for 16 hours...my dog would be just so happy and it works for a long time..even for the worst amout of fleas :)
