Frontline plus doesn't work. what do you use for fleas?

i used it on my dog because i keep hearing how great it is, but it doesn't seem to work at all. what should i do? do they give refunds you think? what a waste of $20... glad i only got one dose. how long does it take for this stuff to kick in? i put it in like three days ago and have not noticed any difference at all...

well i used it on the two dogs that i have and i treated our house and everything else in it really good but it only kept the fleas off for around 2 weeks if that..but I'm pretty sure they wont give you a refund unless you call the actual company and complain. It should only take 2 days at the very most..but make sure you treat your house too.

Advantix works great! You should start seeing results within an hour. Oh, by the way, iodized table salt sprinkled in corners and, all over the place really, kills fleas.

Advantage - It works perfectly.  It kills all fleas.  It does cost but it is so worth it.  You put it on monthly.  Highly recommended.  I use it on my dog and cats and not one flea.  After you use it regularly for a while then you do not have to use it as often.

Try some natural remedies. Flea comb your dog once or twice a day, pushing the eggs and fleas into warm soapy water. Use about a teaspoon of powdered yeast with his food to keep the fleas off his coat. There are also some type of wood shavings you can use to keep the fleas out of the yard. \

Make sure you rid the house of fleas, as well as the dog. Vacuum often, and wash all the sheets.

Cain & Able makes a citronella shampoo that is great for their coat and also repels fleas. It is a little pricey, but it works great and seems to last a long time.

There are metal combs specially made for getting fleas and hair.  You can get the fleas by hand and just put them in a cup of alcohol to kill them.

Just Frontline (not plus) works for ticks, but if you have a flea problem K9 advantix is best! If you need to get rid of the fleas ASAP, go to your vet and ask for Capstar.
