Frostbite in small toe. Please Help?

2 months ago I woke up one morning with burning toes from the cold. So I showered and massaged them but they felt really dead for a week.and from that day the skin seemed sort of dead (wrinkly flat) Now ,worse when it gets cold, my 2 small toes on each foot get a dark purple colour on top.

My toes still work and if I put my feet in warm water and message them they get really bright pink on top, and for a second or 2 after I release pressure that part is white. So there is some bloodflow.

But can anyone tell me how seriouse this is and what can i do about it?

  1. One think I learn in health class. Never ever put a part of your body that has frost bite in water. Try to use grab but not too hard your feet with the inside of one of your knees.

  2. I think you need to get your circulation checked. Do you have diabetes?
