Does Frostwire give your computer viruses like Limewire does?

The program itself doesn't gives viruses to your computer. When you download and install frostwire, you do not have virus on it. It is only the user who brings up viruses. When you download files like exe and zip/rar files, this mostly brings up viruses. That would be the reason why most p2p users claim that installing this kind of p2p softwares brings up viruses. I'm actually using limewire and I mainly use limewire to download music only. Since i've used limewire, i've never had a problem on it.

Their pretty much the same program, but they don't give you viruses. The files you download give you viruses, you just have to be smart and watch what you download. Watch out for files with abnormally small sizes and weird names. I used to get viruses all the time off of Limewire cause i used to have no idea what i was doing, but now im not so stupid and im just very careful about everything i download and haven't gotten a virus from Limewire in a very long time
