  1. Yes they do and most respectable places respect it. None of that warmed up Lasagna in the microwave in Italy

  2. They have to, and they do

  3. I heard places like Olive Garden has frozen foods. The Uno resturants also have frozen foods.

  4. no they dont because i know plenty of those cheapo italian restaraunts that use frozen stuff and there is nothing on the menu

  5. Yeah they have to. It is right that you know that you are eating...

  6. yes they have to do it... 4 us is important know what you're eating

  7. Yes.  A lot of people want to eat healthy and fresh foods.  I for one, will not order a dish if I see it's made with frozen products.  I know a lot of people don't care, but if I can eat fresh products than it's better.

    I live in Italy.

  8. According to the law thay have to specify it on the menu.

They usually put a small * next to the name of the dish. But apart from really cheap bars the frozen things are some ingredients, not the entire dish.- usually shrimps and some other fish is frozen, unless you are in really expensive place or very close to the sea.

It is effectively possible that someone cheats and doesn't write it on the menu, expecially when the menu is handwritten. But i don't think it's a widespread phenomenon. Trust your sensations, and

if you can chose, avoid cheap places with the menu written in english.
