  1. I have a smoothie every morning...yum.  I put frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, frozen blueberries, fresh pineapple, fresh banana, and I thin it with a little bit of apple juice.  Let it sit in the blender while the fruit softens for a bit.  Add some ice, blend and enjoy.  I like it real thick on a hot day so it cools me from the inside out.  Enjoy!!!

  2. yoghurt(make sure theres no gelatin), fruit  juice, any fruit and veggies(or berries) you can find.

ice, any fruit and veggies(or berries) you can find, fruit juice. there is no certain amount you put in, just experement (its what i do, and it always tus out amazing)

  3. 8 ounces Plain yogurt (fruit yogurt can be used if your doing that flavor IE strawberry?

8 ounces juice (used 100% juices if watching sugar intake and sweeten juice if you want a sweeter flavor)

fresh fruit EXP: 1-2 Bananna, 7-10 strawberries, up to 1 cup frozen berries.....this is up to your taste.  more or less

Add milk to get to the consistancy you like thick or thin

you can also add vanilla, almond etc flavors and remember to experiment you can leave out the yogurt and use more juice just add some crushed ice.  Smothies are just fun to play with. Good luck

  5. Not a smoothie recipe but this one is a good one for peach iced tea. You can pretend that you are sitting on the screen porch up here above Atlanta when you are serving it! lol

    Georgia Peach Iced Tea

    1/3 cup fresh mint leaves

4 tablespoons granulated sugar (Dixie Crystals Sugar, of course)

    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    4 cups cold water

4 tea bags (individual serving size)

1-1/2 cups peach nectar (or use fresh peaches from juicer)

Using the back of a spoon, crush the mint leaves with the sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl. Set aside.

In a 1-1/2 quart pan or tea kettle, over high heat, bring the cold water to a boil. Pour over the tea bags and mint mixture in a heat-proof pitcher or container. Stir briefly. Allow to steep 4 to 5 minutes or until desired strength.

Strain tea into another container and add peach nectar. Cool. To serve, pour into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with peach wedge and mint sprig, if desired. Makes about 6 servings.
