Fruit decoration question... Please Help!

how do you make wedge shaped fruit? any special tools? FOR FRUIT BASKETS

You just use a small paring knife.  Just try cutting different shapes till you get them perfect it is easy once you get the hang of it.

For strawberries or oranges or melons etc.  Put knife in on angle / like that then put knife in on opposite angle and meet the first cut.  Wish I could draw for you but don't no howon a computer. You do this right around the centre of the fruit and then put it open and you have a really cool zig zag shape.

You can then scope middle out of say a melon and use it as a bowl with all types of fresh fruit in it.

Looks great on a dessert table etc.

Another good idea is slice a fresh pineapple down centre length ways.  Leave all the greenery attached

Scoop out fruit (the pineapple. cut it into cubes add cubed melon, strawberries grapes etc and pile back into the pineapple shell. Yummy for fresh fruit salad. Then have tooth picks and a bowl of your favourite yogurt and a bowl of fresh whipped cream beside for dipping the fruit cubes.  Yum.

Just experiment and have fun doing so. Theres hundreds of ideas you can do just by mucking around with your fruit.
