Fruit juice concentrate?

When it says made form concentrate on a fruit juice carton, what does concentrate mean, some say 10% concentrate so is that bad or good

They concentrate the fruit then dilute it. Its not bad its just not as good as pure fruit juice.

means the product has had water removed during processing ..

then re- added during packaging...

anything that has been over processed isn't good

and is often higher in sugars..

lower in natural vitamins and antioxidants

avoid any and all concentrate juices

besides.... they simply do not taste as good as the real thing!!

it means its not just pure fruit juice.  They extract the juice, concentrate it somehow and then dilute it again....you're better off buying not from concentrate juices.

it means they took the water out, then added it back in later.  As far as nutrition goes, its the same thing - it just might not taste as fresh.  Its like after you freeze something and defrost it.  The nutrition is the same, it just doesn't taste as fresh, because its not.

Higher concentrations, less water.
