Fruits Basket zodiac years?

I wanted to know if you could replace one animal from the years what year would it be? Dont base it off the characters but the actual animals i was thinking the year of the Rooster it doesn't really seem like a major animal being that i was born that year i hate being a bird but i think they should have chosen a different animal they should switch it with the year of the cat. That would be awesome !! anyways what year would you switch and why?

I think the rat is creepy. When I think of a rat I think of a filthy cheat. The should have done something more fun like a kangaroo! Lol.
