  1. you are going about this all wrong.  Chicken sometimes?  You should be having it everyday, if not every meal.  Protein contains as many calories as carbs do so it makes no sense to eat only carbs and neglect fat and protein.  Vegetables are great but don't go overboard on fruits because they contain several simple sugars that add up calories real fast.  Not to mention the harmful insulin spike.  And don't be afraid of fat, especially poly- and mono-unsaturated fats.  Moderation.  Just watch your calories

  2. Yes, eating adequate fruits and vegatables is a good effort to maintain healthy diet.

For many who have successfully lost weight will tell you that not only its is important to watch what you eat, but the weight loss effort will be half a success if you do not include a regular or routine exercise programme. The exercise programme shall includes cardiovascular exercises and strength training.

Cardio exercises will burn calories and lower body fat, furthermore it will also strengthen the heart and lungs.

For a start, aim to lose not more than 1kg (2.2 lbs) per week. The 20lbs target you've set may takes about 9 weeks to do it.

Continue to maintain a healthy body weight after losing weight. Repeated weight loss and followed by weight gain is called the “yo-yo” effect or also known as weight cycling. This is usually the result of quick-fix diets and weight-loss gimmicks.

The only way to maintain BMI in healthy range is the commitment in lifelong changes in eating and exercise habits.

  3. i'm about in the same boat as you. I'd like to lose about 20 lbs and i'm currently eating no meat and mostly veggies and fruits and nuts.  skip the sodas (regular and diet), and drink mostly water and/or fresh tea.  Oh, and bread is almost nutritionless, so try to limit it along with pastas and rice.  The problem is that they are made with refined flour which is stripped of it's nutrition and makes you actually hungrier.

  4. wow im EXACTLY like you

ive been eating only fruits and vegetables and sometimes chicken for two months

i lost only 10 pounds so far

i also have latenight cravings, to stop those drink some all naturual sugarless juice, try naked or odwalla juices their good for you,  fill you up, and taste good to!
