  1. find out where they are living and clean up any fruit spills fly paper is better for your health they are pretty tenacious - make a trap with a jar and inverted funnel strapped on so that they can fly in but not out -  with honey and vinegar in it.

if you are keeping compost scraps keep them in the fridge.

Make sure that you haven't got banana skins in rubbish -

An infestation is horrendous but you can get on top of htem - best is not to let them have an excuse to come your  way take all veggie peelings out to rubbish every day.

    good luck!

  2. Fruit flies are not of any real concern, so don't resort to sprays. Leave fruits  in refrigeration, in a bag, or eat it and get rid of the remains.

Those yellow sticky strips mounted close to areas where there has been fruit will keep populations under control.

  3. Eliminate the source of attractiveness. Usually fresh fruit.

  4. put out a piece of fruit and wait for them to come...Then spray the,. it works...
