The Dutch under-19 striker was acquired from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 last summer, but has failed to make himself a regular member of the Nerazzurri squad. Feeling dejected by the club, the striker has announced that it is time for him to move on.
The aggressor’s agent insisted that the coming season will be of pristine importance to the budding star. The mediator went on to say that the youngster has overwhelming desire to get out on the pitch and exhibit his skills, but insisted that the player
has been deprived of the opportunity at San Siro.
Castaignos agent revealed that the club expressed, at the time of signing, that they are looking to add some fresh legs to their ageing squad, but pointed out that the squad still remains dominantly aged.
While talking to NU Sport, agent Arie Treffers said:
“Next season will be fundamental for Luc. He wants to play football and he doesn’t have that opportunity at Inter. When he joined the Nerazzurri they said that they wanted to rejuvenate the team, but the average age of the side remains over 30.”
Castaignos’s representative insisted that a number of clubs have shown interest in the services of the striker. However, he went on to say that the player is likely to move away on loan to another club, if they fail to finalize a permanent move to another
giant. The agent insisted that nothing is final, and they are waiting for time to unfold new possibilities for the aggressor.
“I think that a loan move away is most likely or perhaps a big club are ready to sign him on a permanent basis. Let’s see how things turn out, but there is a lot of interest in him.”
The Dutchman has one goal for the Nerazzurri in the mere four appearances for his team, this season.
