  1. Try crumbing it,before you put the crumbs on put it in egg wash which you have added garlic to,then put in the crumb.place in fridge to set for an hour, then shallow fry in olive oil.yummo!you can add parsley etc to egg wash or crumbs.

  3. Since the steak is thin I would tend to make a tasty steak sub out of it then serve a little salad on the side.

    Slice one white onion thinly

Melt a little unsalted butter in heavy bottomed saucepan.

Add a splash of olive oil and fry your onions slowly stirring occasionally until they brown. It's the natural sugars in onions that make the onion caramelize some be patient.  If the onions get a too brown on one side you solve this add a Tbsp of water to the pan remove and stir for 1-2 minutes, then return a low heat and cook until the water has evaported.

Once your onions are caramelized put a lid on the pot and remove from the heat.  Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle until it is very hot (you might to open your windows to prevent over sensitive smoke detectors from going off.

Add one teaspoon of olive oil then place the steak into the skillet away from you, so if it does splash its at the back of the stove ...not on you.

season one then almost immediately turn the steak using a pair of tongs if you have some. Season the other side and after 1-2 minutes it should be medium rare. so remove from the pan and turn the heat off. Drain any fat /oil from the pan Cut open a small bagutte or similar shaped roll then rub the bread against the any steak sediment left in the pan.  The spread a good olive oil mayo one one side of the bread and a litte grain mustard on the other side.

After 2-3 minutes the steak should be rested enough. Trim off some of the fat in you wish and then slice the steak fairly thinly at an angle then put into the bread and heap on those delicous caramelized onions...mmm!  can you taste it yet?

Ps since your steak is thin I would not put any other spices on the meat for fear of blocking the flavour of the steak.
