Fta boxes programming?

I bought a fta box coolsat brand, I thought you just hooked it up, but when I got it I found out that I had to program it. My question is how do I do this and where do I get the "codes" that are mentioned. I am in the USA if that matters for programming. Also, I have dish network currently.

Well you have a little bit of reading to do but not much. Since your dish is already pointed for you, half the problem is already solved. Go to www.ftabins.net and you can find your files. FTA comes and goes just so you know. We are currently experiencing a blackout of pay channels that should be resolved sometime tomorrow. Good luck and remember it's a hobby lol.
