Question:

Fuel & Hydrogen?

Hasn't it even struck you WHY they yet haven’t bought hydrogen cars into production? Even though BMW, Mercedes Benz etc, have all BETA tested and now 100% completed the hydrogen car? Why is it so that there not planning on bringing out the hydrogen car till 2020?

A good film named “Syriana” was made in 2005 which explained that in 2005 (3 years ago) the US government alone will be making over 379 Billion dollars just of fuel in one year from the Middle East.

Now what will happen to fuel if hydrogen cars where bought into production? The value of fuel will drop from $3 a litre (GB) to $0.01 a litre. It will be practically worthless.

Why do you think there boosting the prices of fuel? Not because it’s to help global warming, this is a load of bull c**p in my opinion because if you put the prices up by $100, people will still have to buy fuel to get here and there. But anyways getting to the point, they know if not 2020, that one day fuel WILL be worthless.

  1. This is an interesting view, basically everything has to change as we are not willing to put up with how we are all being treated.

Transport fuel must be modernised i agree, many theories of different types of fuel do seem plausible.

I asked why can't we have cars running on water, seeing as this planet has excess mostly!

  2. What are these lies? Diesel cars won't run on wee. and the price of fuel hasn't quadrupled in the UK in the last year.

Hydrogen has to be generated by electricity, electricity is currently generated by fossil fuels. It will take you a long time to make enough hydrogen with a solar panel or wind turbine to offset the current price of buying one and the energy cost of manufacturing it, so go smoke some more dope and you can fly everywhere numb nuts.

  3. I tend to agree. Also look to the history of this sort of technology. When you investigate, you will see that many, many people who were close to inventing this type of technology were ASSASSINATED or just 'mysteriously' died. ... yeah, right!

Just the other day I was listening to the news on the radio regarding gas price comparison between US and Mexico. I did not hear them mention where on US soil this side of the border they referred to. I'm going to assume it was Texas. Gas was $4.26 on the US side. Just TWO MILES into Mexio, gas was just barely over $2/gal. C'MON! Wake up... talk about an in your face lie about why the gas prices are shooting up!

But there is no need to wait for HHO cars to become available, the technology is out now to convert YOUR OWN existing vehicle to take advantage of HHO (hydrogen) technology. It's cheap and straightforward and even places such as FOX news have reported it to work.

  4. do you know where they will be taking most of the hydrogen?

no it is not from the water breaking the link between the hydrogen and oxygen,H2O,it is too energy consuming...and water is getting scarce too..it will be from the oil and gas...so you get hydrogen cars to substitute petrol or diesel..but the difference is not so much after all

  5. Yea, that's good, let's get our facts from a Hollywood movie; that's usually the first place I look for information. I don't know why everybody has an obsession with hydrogen cars. Yea, they look good on paper, and their byproduct is water, but how do you obtain hydrogen?

Well, you could split a water molecule which is the main way people produce hydrogen. One guy here argues that there isn't enough water and that splitting water takes too much energy. Last time I checked, the earth's surface was 70-75% water, seems like enough; and as far as too much energy goes, obtaining hydrogen from fossil fuels? Yea, good idea. I'm sure that will be free.

The only feasible way to have H2 as a primary source would be to use renewable energy, such as wind, solar, etc., to produce H2 from water. Good luck with that. The US produces a little more ethanol now, and everybody has a problem with that and EVERYTHING gets blamed on ethanol. Maybe someone can talk to Al Gore about his 10 year plan to have the US 100% energy independent. Haha, he should be a comedian.

  6. The main hitch in providing hydrogen fueled cars is that they mostly derive their hydrogen from methane. Now we can get more electric power from methane by breaking hydrogen from methane than by burning the methane in an internal combustion engine.

But that is because getting hydrogen from water, storing it, and delivering it is not economical at this time. There is a patent out there that provides a way for a nuclear plant to produce hydrogen at modest cost, and when we decide on a low cost and safe way to store it and deliver it, we may be able to use it. But 12 years lead time does look a bit optimistic.

We know we can convert hydrogen and nitrogen into ammonia that will allow us to store hydrogen that will give back hydrogen. But it is not very pure hydrogen yet so we have to develop ways to clean it up before we propose that someone is ripping us off because they do not offer it for sale.
