Is there a reason (Other than, Money making) that the price of fuel in Australia still remains the highest it has ever been, when the price of oil has dropped $20 a barrel in the last 2 weeks.

  1. takes time to get that newer cheaper oil to the refineries and made into gas.  Funny how the second that oil goes up the price goes up.  HUH?  The financial world is not straight forward and financial guys are always figuring out ways to make more money on things.. I think mostly illegal ways that are very hard to prove and just as hard to find these guys.

  2. Greed. It's funny how if oil goes up 20 a barrel they raise the price over night but if it goes down you never see it drop.I'm afraid gas will never move much in price. They see we can pay it so why change it?

  3. Oil prices dropping will take long time to see any major lower prices as we have already have years of oil bought at previous prices. By the way gas stations must sell thousands of gallons of gas to make little.  Reason that you do not see many just gas stations anymore but small shopping and sandwich shops with gas.  Thank King oil well family-Our president and his father and Bin-ladin's family who are partners in at least 7 wells and 1 defense plant in US.

  4. This is a physics question, really.  You see, you're on the bottom side of the planet.  Therefore, when it's summer here, it's winter there.  See?  Likewise, your rivers flow up, while ours flow DOWN.  Amazin' isn't it?

So it just goes to figure if the price of oil going down causes gas to get cheaper here, then it must go higher there!  You should be thankin' your lucky stars that the price is holdin' on where 'tis, instead of shootin' through the roof like it should!

  5. Oil prices are based on delivery a couple of months from now. The price of gaoline is about 5% of a barrel of oil. Be patient.
