  1. not gonna work my friend.

how are grocery stores going to get food to the masses when nobody gets it to them.

unless we want to live like a third world country we need our fossil fuels. at least until they make a reliable cheap alternative. big oil knows this. thats why they can do what they do.

  2. it won't work.. same reason why those "boycott a fill station for a day" don't work.. Eventually we need to buy the gas anyway..

The only thing that'll work is to permanently lessen the demand for gas..

  3. I don't think it would work,

but I wish we could all take one day off a week from driving or something, that would help gas go down a few cents..

  4. yes , we should but no one will do it. People seem to have no commitment to causes, even if they believe in them. If the nation would strike a few days and shut down the whole system, I think our government might take some notice. Instead oil executives are taking home record profits while we all starve to death. But everyone is to busy to do anything about it.........................................

  5. I wouldn't call it a fuel strike, but I ride my bike to work and basically wherever I go. I have never driven a car in my entire life.

  6. How would that work? You couldn't go to work , because you couldn't fill up your tank, so you wouldn't have any money to pay your payments or bills. That would put you behind on evertyhing or fired.

I think this is out of the question. I also, did you know EXXon made 89,000 dollars a MINUTE last year?

  7. If we make an effort to drive less and walk more not only would we save money but we would be a more healthy coun try! We are all addicted to our cars and that's why they have us over a barrel.

  8. Yes because the Oil companies made hugh profits last year, they are deliberatly reducing fuel production to maximise profits at our expense..There are some benifits to the inflated prices and that is that there are too many people useing cars and our Cities and roads are being congested . This extra expense is keeping people off the roads...
