  1. It will do no good is we don't start drilling. Get it straight the democrats like for US to support our enemy so we will fail and U might be someones slave...

  2. The oil industry has already set their price on "gouge" and our only alternative is to explore alternative power sources.

unfortunately the ones that can no longer afford to pay the high price of fossil fuel, can neither afford alternative powered transportation.

I guess we could alway learn to ride a bicycle again.

  3. No it will just make the need for more fuel to run the cars delay the under supply by a few years if even that

    .. .. ..

supply and demand is only one part of the problem that is plaguing the world

    .. . ..

Oil is a non replenish-able resource the earth has with in its self

    .. . ..

And every one is wanting to get what they can get while there is any to get

    .. . ..

They think that will make today a better tomorrow kind of thinking ha ha ha to that idea

    ... ... ...

  4. More fuel efficient cars of course would help.  However, the problem is rising global demand for oil, particularly from developing countries like India and China.  Asians use about 1.5 tonnes of CO2 equivalent of fuel per year, whereas North Americans use about 20 tonnes per year.  However, given their large populations, even a small increase in their unit consumption, the impact on the global energy market is huge.

I think high oil prices are here to stay, sadly.
