Fuel injector cleaners?

hey my car seemed to have lost a lot of power recently and stumbles, it barely accelerates untill it hits 20km/h then aftr that its fine, i have recently added a fuel injector cleaner to a full tank of gas and like magic it restored all power problem solved... no, the very next day it went from being normal to even worse than before any ideas??

When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter?

What about the air filter?

It may not be the injectors at all. I spent three weeks  trying to find new  injectors for my Miata because it was not up to snuff. One place I stopped to  ask if they could get me some, told me that they could order me a set, but they had never had to replace any injectors yet.

The owner of the shop suggested a new set of plug wires.

Well I thought sure, I bought life time plug wire when I replaced them last time. But a single injector  was 150 dollars and plug wires were less then 50. So I took his advice and put new  wires on it. Ran great.

I say all that because the problem may be some place else.

Like the plug wires, or a coil (depending on car coils). Maybe the spark plugs. I burnt one set out due to a malfunctioning temp sensor last year. 50000 mile plugs burnt in 12000 miles.

So make  sure all of the other items are covered.

Worked on one car that had been serviced by the dealer for 75000 miles and the plugs were supposed to be changed every 30000 miles. It still had three original plugs in it and only one new one. So even if you have paid to have the other things done to the car, it does not mean they were done!
