  1. Tax,tax, tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more than 50% of what we pay at the pumps goes to the government, now thats a rip off!!!

  2. the govenment make a huge profit from fuel ,about78p a litre , now as we know  everything travels by road so up goes everything ,now if the government can lend the banks 50million why do they not take  less tax and reduce the misery of millions, tax has ruined Britain.

  3. I doubt it, not with the amount of tax they're taking from it.

It'll most likely get more expensive rather than get cheaper.

  4. Tax makes up a big percentage of the cost.As for a decrease in price ,Not going to happen.

  5. no the government is making to much we pay 70p tax in every litre or petrol

  6. No ! No ! No !  Undercutting not allowed Saddam tried that and look what happened to him. World oil is a big cartel All traded  in U.S. dollars, and prices, drilling, and reserves set way ahead of time. BP is British, Schell is Dutch, LukOil is Russian. Of course we all know and love Ex on-Mobil.  Play by the rules and get rich. Break the rules and bad things happen. TO YOU !!!

  7. Where are the Lorry drivers ??the farmers??? agricultural contractors?? Is there a fuel protest in Wales tonight?????????????

  8. In the UK we pay around 70% in tax at the pumps. No I don't think we will see a decreace. In the last 10 years Fuel prices have doubled. based on this, in another 10 years we will be paying £10 per gallon??? I think I will buy a horse and cart.

  10. I saw a site offering info on how to pay 1940's prices for gas

    Thought it was a scam

BUT for $15.00 I tried it

  11. I heard somewhere that the Government adds tax of 450% to any increases from the Oil Giants, plus VAT on the final figure of course.

Should the Oil Giants reduce fuel by one penny, there is no way that the Government will reduce by a further three and a half pence.

It fact they are more likely to place an emergency tax of the one penny onto the fuel.

So the answer, must resoundingly be no.

I find it terribly sad that People that want to work are now considering leaving their jobs to sign on (they are also going to claim other benefits too; such as Disability).

This non-listening Government are so surprised that they are losing out on the various polls.

The last figure was Conservative 40%, New Labour 26%, and Liberal Democrats 21%.

It beggers belief that they cannot see the obvious; but they do live on a completely different and remote planet from the rest of us.
