  1. It's "fun" reading.. and unfortunately very true and real situations. I wish I had that freedom of speech here 'cause some people really deserve to be called out without retribution. lol

  2. I'm a fan from the start of it, throughout it's run readers and the writer of the blog have actually saved and adopted out many horses, some featured on the blog itself. I believe she wants to set up a formal rescue too.

  3. Love this blog. Someone has to say that stuff, and the lady that writes it sure makes is entertaining. I wish people would stop breeding crappy horses...

  4. Wow this sight is amazing and very interesting also humorous. STOP BREEDING lol!!!lol

  5. Well done and I agree with you on EVERY article!  I'm impressed with the page and have bookmarked it to keep up with your posts.  One day I hope to learn how you make these pages.

  6. Read  fugly blog  daily.

agree  with  most  of  it  but  find some days  the  bloggers  jump  in at  the  deep end  before they have  all  the  facts  and  revert  to  name  calling.

  7. i love it! i don't read it regularly, but i have looked at it a few times, and love it! i think everyone here loves it.

  8. i do agree with a lot of the stuff on that site... however some of it goes a bit too far in my opinion

  9. This blog is hilarious! It gives me a good laugh.

Thanks for posting the link. ;)

  10. i agree with 90% of the things said so far that i read on that blog. . . . did i read todays blog? naw not yet, i save up and read 2-3 of em at a time. . . why cant more people listen to common sense when it comes to breeding???

anyway. . . yeah i know some people hate them some people love em. . . but most the advice/blogs are right on.

omg! and i was questioning why people stood on their horses to sell them...*mouth drops open and wonders how those people ever got insurance*

  11. I enjoy fugly.  If people don't like getting hopped on for their clear gleaming target ads, then perhaps they should put more thought into things.  Or maybe they shouldn't be trying to advertise their "hideozygous" paint stallion that has done absolutely nothing to prove it's worthiness to retain control of it's testicles.  Sorry....if'n the shoe fits, I guess they should pony up and wear it.  I find for the most part she hits pretty much on the truth, so if the truth hurts....maybe the offended party should look at themselves and figure out whether the rant is true or not.  As for the delivery and lack of pat people on the head and make themselves feel all warm and cuddly.... I find the total unabashed candor refreshing.

  12. I think Fugly brings up a lot of valid, logical points, but I do agree that sometimes she goes too far. There's no way, though, that I'll stop reading it. Definitely agree with her assessment of the different breed scandals and NH trainers.

  13. I check it daily, kinda another one of those silly Internet things I'm sadly addicted to....LOL

I don't agree with everything she says, but a good majority of it. I think she does a great thing by pointing out the moron backyard breeders and just over-all idiotic things people do with their horses.

One big thing I'm not in agreement with is her stand point on slaughter.... Closing slaughter houses down for good would be a huge mistake. I would LOVE if it were possible, but in today's day and age, it would leave a lot of horses starving in some paddock somewhere.

  14. Yes, I have to admit I'm a Fugly-fan. I check it out most days and somedays it just leads me into researching link after link so I have the excuse that it's educational as well.

Sad that there are so many problems that need to be highlighted but bravo to her for highlighting them. I love that you get to hear the happy-ever after stories of the rescues as well.

  15. I read it about everyday.    I do like most of what she says, but I don't agree with her on somethings.  Like how she agrees its right to put some BLM Mustangs down.  If people would STOP TAKING THE MUSTANGS land then the fed. govt wouldn't have this problem right now.  Let them seriously run free like they are meant, only catch a minor amount per year, and don't catch more until enough our adopted out of the herd before hand.
