It is a "vintage" bike says club Fuji on it..and Fuji Val Lite tubin supposed to be 12 speed. the price is not too bad. they've put new tires etc...and "tune up" the asking price is 250.00 is this a good buy? or should I pass on it? I need a bike to commutte and going up hills..

  1. For your purpose it would be a good choice.  Also, its always good to come in the low end when purchasing your first road bike.  With cycling you either love it and continue or you soon give up on it.  I go on E-Bay and I am amazed at the low mileage high end bikes people are selling.  Tune ups at a good bike shop run about $80.00 and tires/tubes can be as much as $50.00 as wet.  So all in all its again a good deal.  If the seller is an experienced bike person have him fit you for the bike also.

  2. actually that is not a bad price...snap it up
