I have two: 1) How do I add the time/date stamp directly onto the image/picture? I can see it on the camera, but not on the image when i display it on a computer or print it.

2) The video is fairly good on this camera, but it is large! Only 17 minutes per gigabyte! I'd like to lower this so I get more time per gigabyte. Is there a way to lower the file size? Thanks to anyone that can help!

  1. Second things first:  To reduce the file size of movies, set your camera to movie mode, then press the 'f'' button (back panel, upper right). It will give you your options for quality.  Of course, lower quality is smaller file size.

I have a fujifulm camera as well.  I do not believe it has a function that puts the date onto the picture itself, though of course it is in the original digital data if you want to look it up.  I'm not sure why that feature is not available. I don't personally care for it, but some people love it and it should be very easy to do.  If you really want that date stamp on the printed photo, you'll have to add it yourself in photoshop or some other photo editor by determining the date/time from the file data and then manually typing it into the corner of the photo.  Or, I have heard that you can take your card to a fuji frontier photo lab and they can do it for you.  Wish I had a better answer for you on this one.

Anyway, good luck and have fun.
