Fujifilm Camera?

Question

My parents are going to get me a digital camera for my birthday and they told me my limit was $200 so I've been looking at the new Fujifilm Finepix 10.0MP Digital Camera - Ice Blue (Z20fd). I've never had a fujifilm camera so I was wondering if it really is the best. Im looking for something with more focas as my hand does shake a lot due to a nerve problem so is this a great camera or do you guys suggest something else?

Yes,  for the price it is a nice camera.    Fuji also makes some very nice DSLR digital cameras, which proves they are seriously in the camera business.  10 MPs will give you lots of resolution in case you want to make nice photo prints.  I don't think I would make a deal about the color of the camera, however... as that has nothing to do with how it is going to work for you.   One issue you mention about your hand shaking...  enough shaking and no matter what camera you use will cause pictures to go out of focus.    I would suggest that you plan on getting a neck strap and nice camera carry case for your new digital,  as they are easy to fall out of your hands or be dropped and it would do you a world of good to look through 25-30 pages of this answer board to find dozens of unhappy people because they dropped their camera and it no longer works.  Fuji is nice...  depend on that...  but just try to take extra good care of it.

It has pictures stabilization, but it's definitely not the best camera for what you want.  Unfortunately, the camera I'd recommend for you is $400 (the F100fd).  Here are two ideas:

1.  Try to get a camera with image stabilization, like vibration reduction.

2.  Just get a little tripod.  Any lightweight tripod is good enough for a compact digital camera and then you can get a perfect shot because you're not touching the camera.
