Fujitsu T4220 Flash Memory Drive

Question

I plug a 1 gb micro SD flash memory card in the handy flash memory slot in the front of the computer (in the full SD card sized adapter of course). When I do, some programs will freeze, but otherwise nothing happens.

I look in 'My Computer' and the removable drive doesn't show up. I've searched high and low, and can't seem to find any way to access the card. Hopefully there is something insanely simple that I'm overlooking.
