Fulham defender John Arne Riise believes Gareth Bale is the best left sided player in the world – Premier League Update
Fulham defender and Norwegian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 is easily the best left sided player in the world at the moment.
The defender was part of the Fulham side that took on Tottenham last week and based on how Bale kept taking the game to Fulham, the defender feels that Bale might be one of the best player he has every played against.
At the moment, Wales and Norway are set to face each other in an international friendly and it seems like Riise is just trying to let his team mates know who they are going to be up against.
The game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 is going to be a massive achievement for Riise, since it would go down as his hundredth game in a Norway jersey. In doing so, the defender would become the third ever Norwegian to achieve that feat. However, the full back is well aware
of the fact that the defender could make his upcoming game a very hurtful one.
When talking about Bale, Riise is quoted to have said: "There is no doubt about his ability, not only what he did against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 [scoring a hat-trick against them in last season's Champions League] but the whole of last season he kept going"
"The things he produces are unbelievable. I played against him on Sunday, and when you play against him you have to make him run the other way by attacking yourself, otherwise it will be a one-man game.
"There is no left-sided player better than him at the moment. He has a great left foot, he is strong and quick and can cross. You can think you are going to be close to him and then he just runs past you and scores a goal."
Riise is also looking forward to taking on his former team mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the past and hence they are well aware of just what the other brings to the table.
Despite that fact, Riise believes that both Bellamy and Bale will be a handful for the Norwegian defence and they would really have to get their act together, if they hope to pick up a win in the game. Should Riise be able to use his experience and his knowledge
about the two players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Norway-c2974’s favour, then Wales could just end up losing their upcoming game.
