The club technical director Johan Hansma has revealed that his side has permitted the duo to talk to the English Premier League outfit to work out a potential move.
Reports from Abe Lenstra Stadion confirm that Fulham have opened talks with Heerenveen to sign Luciano Narsingh and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oussama-Assaidi-c28900 in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Narsingh and Assaidi along with their agent, Mino Raiola, have travelled to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 to tour the Cottagers training facilities and ground.
Heerenveen technical director, Johan Hansma, has confirmed the reports and has revealed that his side gave permission to the duo to travel to London in order to have a good feeling with the English top tier club.
“We have given Mino Raiola and the players the space to talk. Narsingh and Assaidi had to have a good feeling with a club. It doesn't make any sense if we reach an agreement with a club and the players won't want to go there. To
succeed in a transfer there are three sides needed”, Hansma was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
Assaidi, who has been plying his trade at Abe Lenstra Stadion since the summer of 2009, has been in impressive form since the start of the 2011/12 campaign.
Netting eight goals while amassing seven assists in 25 appearances, the 23-year-old has played an integral role in his side’s success this term. His impressive performances have attracted interest from a host of European clubs,
with the Cottagers being the favourites to land his signature.
On the other hand, Ajax Amsterdam have been heavily linked with Narsingh since the January transfer window slammed shut, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven are also keeping tabs on the highly-rated winger.
However, with Fulham now taking keen interest in acquiring the duo’s services this summer, it seems likely that the two wingers would be plying their trade at Craven Cottage in the 2012/13 season.
Assaidi and Narsingh both have a contract at Abe Lenstra Stadion that runs until the summer of 2013. Reports indicate that the Heerenveen management will not let go of the duo for anything less than 20 million Euros.
