Fulham have gone on to complete the capture of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mladen-Petric-c26139, after the team went on to sign him on a one year contract.
The thirty one year old Croatian forward went on to join the Premier League side as a free agent, following his contract with Hamburg expiring recently.
The striker has gone on to reveal that he always wanted to play in the Premier League and by joining Fulham, he has gone on to fulfil one of his wishes.
He is quoted to have said: "I like the Premier League and it has always been one of my wishes to come here."
He was previously playing for FC Baden and Grasshoppers in the Swiss league, before he went on to enjoy spells with Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg.
Having already worked under Martin Jol, it seems like his move to the club came into being because of their relationship.
Petric then went on to add: "I played with Hamburg against the club two years ago in the Europa League.”
"It was very nice to play at Craven Cottage with a fantastic crowd and I have enjoyed a good relationship with every member of the club I have met since.”
"I'm very happy to be part of what is happening at Fulham. The club is doing very well and that was why I decided to come here.”
"I know the manager well and I know that he is always looking to strengthen his attacking options - and I hope that we can do even better next season."
The striker is set to be a part of the team’s pre season games, where the fans will be able to get a better view of him and just what he is capable of.
Petric is a target man, who likes playing up front. He has good control and even though he isn’t the fastest players around, his shooting and heading ability tend to make up for his lack of pace.
Many believe that the striker was signed by the team, in order to replace Andy Johnson, who recently went on to leave Fulham to secure a move to the Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385.
