Fulham’s Andy Johnson ecstatic to see Fulham pick up three points – Europa League Update
Fulham striker, Andy Johnson has gone on to admit that he is ecstatic to see his side pick up all three points from their Europa League game last night.
Given the poor form that the team was displaying in the Premier League, most believed they would struggle in Europe as well. However, that was not the case, as the team strolled to a comfortable four goals to one win.
Following the win, the team is now just three points short of ensuring their qualification to the next round of the tournament, with two games in hand.
Following the game, a very happy and delighted Andy Johnson was reported to have said: "It was a great result tonight. They’re a good team and we found it hard at their place and the main thing is that we got the three points that we needed tonight and to
give ourselves a great chance of qualifying."
Prior to their Europa League game, Fulham were on a downward spiral. The team found it hard to pick up any points and had managed to lose three of their last four games. However, this win might potentially get Fulham back on track, as they look to go all
out and pick up more wins from their upcoming games.
Johnson then continued, as he spoke about the upcoming games that the team was going into, while highlighting the mistakes of the fixtures that the Premier League side lost in recent weeks.
Johnson then went on to add: "I think things haven’t been going as well like the last few games since the QPR game it’s been quite tough. But things turned again tonight, the boys have been digging in.

"Everyone knew it was a big game today, we’ve got another couple of games against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 coming up, so it was a big three points for us and has given us a great chance now."
Ever since his move to Fulham, Johnson has not really managed to make the impact that most would have expected. His injuries have gotten the better of him, but it seems like all of that is destined to change. The striker has managed to score a highly impressive
eleven goals in his last ten games and as a result, he seems to be on cloud nine at the moment.
Should Johnson keep providing the goals for the team, then Fulham are more than likely to go on and turn their season around.
