  1. Funny you should ask it.  I saw it with my parents.  I'm not sure how old you are, I was 21 I think, so it was odd, but not awkward...I wasn't sitting next to him though.

I enjoy musicals to an extent, and while they're not my favorite genre of theatre...I've never laughed so hard nor enjoyed myself (Spamalot probably ties it) during a musical as much.  It's really quite funny, and they do full nudity, but you don't see anything (I don't want to give away how it's done).  And my dad loved the show.

It's all going to depend on the relationship you have with your dad, your age (maybe not so appropriate if you're, you know...13), and how conservative he is.

    Hope this helps

  2. I agree with the poster above.  It is a very funny musical and they DO go "all the way".  You cannot really see anything, though. I guess if you were seated in the right place and it was a matinee you MAY be able to see something.  If your Dad doesn't mind you seeing the musical, then I would think it would be a fun experience.  There are some differences from the movie (the music of course and the setting), but overall its straight from the movie.

I saw it with my grandmother. lol.
