Hey ..I really dont know where to start ...

Recently i have been getting kind of a dull pain in my stomach ..Nothing that takes my breath away but sometimes i get little twinges of pain. When i was 19 (Im now 22) I got really weak and I can't explain it but overall felt unwell i got full blood tests done ...not sure what other tests but i had to wee in a special bucket for a week then they took that away and did tests.

Everything can back clear. I apparantly have an anxiety disorder. Im going on holidays in the morning and im worried that this stomach pain is something serious like cancer ... colon cancer or something similar .. I have had regular blood tests and they are clear.... Should I be so worried?

My bowel movements are also fine

  1. those Doctors are the biggest BSers in the world. it's not anxiety. that's what all doctors say when they cant find what's wrong. go to someone who cares and doesn't have tunnel vision

  2. Stomach cramps are a typical anxiety problem.  If all the tests are clear then you have to hope that the pain is all psychosomatic.

Just because the brain says 'feel pain here' doesn't mean that you have anything wrong with 'here'  I suffer with very painful cramps, very often.  For many women these cramps come and go throughout their lives.  Men tend not to get them but when they do it tends to be more acute.

Next time you feel the pain coming on take a painkiller with Codeine in it. [CoCodamol]  Eat a little before taking it.

Keep a diary of when the cramps occur and what medication you took.  You might find that the cramps will stop once you control the pain.

But please do not do this without first putting the suggestion forward to your Doctor.
