  1. usually not.

    that is an additional fee.

and be aware if you don't want a sub compact for a rental car, if you get in an accident that requires overnight repairs, you might need to pay more for rental car coverage. Usually only a few dollars a month but well worth it, if you ever need it.

  2. There is no such thing. You need towing insurance.

  3. Some insurance companies offer towing as a complimentary service, others require you to add that into your premium as an option if you want it.

  4. Depends on the Insurance Company you have and what they consider 'Full Coverage'. Some companies have complimentary tow, some are cheap about it. It depends on what you have.

Go to your insurance provider's website and log in (if you pay online) and view your plan covers. Or simply call your provider and ask if it's complimentary. If not, guess you'll need a buddy with a truck and a tow strap.

  5. Not necessarily -- ask your agent this question when you buy insurance.
