  1. Around the size of a soft ball. It'll take him quite a few years to reach that size, however. Good luck with him! :)

  2. Moors get BIG.

Look at the one in this vid:

Compared to the size of her hand! Moors & orandas are, from what I've seen, the biggest in terms of sheer mass.

For now your 20g should be fine - nice and spacious for a single fish, I approve!

If you see him piping/gulping at the surface be sure to add more airstones (I assume you have one already). Tanks that are taller than they are high don't have much surface area for gas exchange, so you need to help that along with airstones/bubblers.

Eventually you could get him a rectangular tank because he's going to need more lateral swimming space than up/down swimming space. When he reaches 3 inches or so is when you should start looking. Check craigslist.com or other used stuff site, I just got an awesome 35g for 50$ and it came with a stand and a hood.

Hope your moor grows big and beautiful :)

  3. Goldfish get HUGEEE!!

The biggest black moore i've seen was bigger than my hand.. lol

Ok so imagine a 2 gallon tank..... The biggest black moore I've seen was 3/4 of a 2 gallon tank..

  4. well thats the minimum tank size so he should grow full size or just under

  5. they can get up to 10in with the best care. average is 4in i think so 4in-10in i guess

  6. seeing as octagonal tanks can't support as much biomass as a rectangular thank could i would say just under fully grown

moores tend to be on the small size for goldfish anyway so maybe like 6-7 inches
