  1. It has nothing to do with how the business is run.  The issue is how America has bullied online poker companies and online financial institutions like Neteller and ePassporte.

If the government did what the people want, rather than following some puritan religious right wing agenda, it would be child's play to deposit and withdraw money from any poker site instantly with a credit card or debit card.

The only reason we in America have to go though this hassle is because Bush allowed Bill Frist to place anti-gambling legislation in an unrelated terrorism bill.

If you or I lived in a free country, we'd get our money within minutes.  So let's place the blame where it belongs.

  2. They are offshore but all online gaming is.  They register in tax friendly jurisdictions like Aruba but this doesn't mean they are less credible.  If you have an international business and can incorporate your company anywhere but can't do it in major countries anyway then places like Aruba, Gibralter, Isle of Man, etc make a lot of sense.  The Indian Reservation in Quebec Canada isn't the company it's the hub of a lot of online gaming, these are Indians that are beyond the long arm of the law and in spite of this all being illegal in both Canada and the U.S. they don't care and no one is prepared to stop them.

It used to be so easy to withdraw money from poker sites it was sick and you could have the money in a matter of seconds from some places but with the banning of Neteller in the U.S., Canada, and some other countries has made this a lot tougher.  Not tough mind you, just longer and a lot longer in some cases.  If you want to withdraw by check then you need to be real patient as it can take several weeks.  If you're looking for quicker service then play at Poker Stars (http://www.pokerstars.com/?source=kingco... which has the quickest service of any poker site and you will usually get your check in under 2 weeks.

  3. a) They are not located in Aruba. Their servers are located in Quebec, Canada, and their offices are in Ireland, I believe. It is illegal to run an online poker or casino from within the US. All of the sites are located abroad.

    b) It is not uncommon for a site to handle support issues using email only. Many sites do it.

Full Tilt has had some recent trouble with their payment processor. I think only US players who request check withdrawals are being affected. It's frustrating, but you absolutely will get your money. FTP is a fantastic site, with a fantastic track record. They do not steal from people.

No doubt, the recent withdrawal troubles some sites have been experiencing is due to the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act). Maybe with a Democrat in the White House things will get better.

  4. Aruba. LOL funny.

Full Tilt just doesn't like you and thinks your ugly.

You will get your check just be patient
