Fun, Inexpensive skiing/snowboarding in New York City?

Question

What are some places where I can go snowboarding for a not too expensive price in our around New York City (Manhattan)? I don't have a car, so I'd like a place where I can easily get transportation to (i heard some resorts have buses that take you from port authority).

Also, where would I find the best price around here for snowboarding rentals and warm snowboarding clothes?

NYC has no snowboarding what-so-ever

you'll have to travel upstate, i live in long island but chill in the city every weekend and will be making weekend trips to Jiminy Peak in Western Mass, its about 3 hrs from the city, your welcome to hitch a ride once in a while, there are madd places to ride upstate, Gore Whiteface, West, I could go on forever, message me if you got more.. I have been riding , upstate NY , VT, and MA for the last 7 years
