Tomorrow is my brother's birthday party, and we have a bunch of kids between the ages of 2 and 9. We have a sort of Fear Factor theme but I'm flexible. Do you know of any good, fun, age-appropriate games? (We will probably be outdoors!)

  1. between 2 and 9 is a big age gap

u could get one of those huge egg cartans that hold like 30 eggs and u could color the dips a different color. and the kids could stand a few feet away and through pebbles or pennies or somethin into the holes and different colors mean different things: like blue- take a peice of candy

    or green- grab a sticker

*or u could make it easier and bigger than egg cartans and use different color shoe boxes and plastic fake bugs.*

u could make a lot of pudding and mix in some gummy worms and then have the kids try to find the gummy worms in the pudding and who ever finds em gets a prize or something

u could create an opsical course where the kids have to gather the flags. like they have to go down a slide and get a flag at the bottom. then pop a balloon and get a flag inside. then find the flag inside a popcorn bowl of slime (check out the site below for slime instructions) do crazy stuff like that

  2. In my opinion the best thing you can do is separate by age group. A 9 year old will not want to play games with a 4 year old. Have the 6 or 7+  year olds do a water gun fight and or water balloon. 2-4 year olds should be put together with some toys. And the people in between could throw a Frisbee or football or play soccer.

If you want everyone to have fun, you can't put them all together on everything that you do. Give them a chance to do their own thing as well.
