Fun Alternatives to Vegas in Southern California? ?

So my trip to Las Vegas got cancelled. So is there any fun Vegas-like alternative things to do in Southern California for a couple?

Pechanga in Temecula (91 or 10 freeway to 15 freeway, south);  then a little bit further south is a Harrah's too......While you're in Temecula, you can do a wine-tasting tour on Hwy 79 too

Palms Springs has a number of Casinos that rival what you would find in Downtown Las Vegas. My personal favorite is Agua Caliente Casino which is in Rancho Mirage, about 10 minutes east of Palms Springs.

If you like Poker, the City of Commerce has the largest card room in the world, but it only offers poker and Asian games such as Pai Gow.
