  1. Indeed i love this question because you can go to the Rainforest Cafe, which is amazing and delicious and so much fun that I always love to go there because it's so fantastic.  So, best of luck to you and yours.

  2. genos east for something casual and fun, grand luxe cafe same, touristy places : hard rock, Peace (the pizza place that used to be the real world house)

  3. my last visit back to Chicago resulted in a hillarious time at the Karaoke Restaurant

here is a link to a review site w/directions & info

  4. go to the dave and buster restaurant

  5. yep geno's east

  6. chinatown may be fun.

  7. Oh, puhllllllleeeeze!  If you're looking for a good place downtown to take friends the last place you want to end up at is a lousy Olive Garden!

I guess it depends on your price range.  If you're looking to spend some bucks, I'd suggest N9ne (Nine,) which has great seafood and steaks and has one of the best drink lounges in the city.  West Loop on Randolph.  Any club on Rush St on the weekends will be a wild time but don't expect more than bar food for quality.  If you want to spend some bucks and have a great dinner on Rush St the only REAL choice is Gibson's.  Huge steaks, nice old fashioned bar and it's a Chicago institution.

We always had fun at Nacional 27, which not only has great food and a wonderful bar but also some very reasonable prices for a higher-end restaurant.  Best mojitos and capriahanas <sp?> in the city plus occassional music and dancing! (West Loop right over the bridge.  I think it's on Washington.)

If you want to have fun and a real Chicago experience there's always Harry Caray's.  Good steaks, nice bar and a lot of buzzed Chicago sports fans.  I think it's on Dearborn, Near North  just over the river by the House of Blues.

If you like wine, try Bin 36 which is attached to the H of Bs.  Food is only so-so and a bit pricey but a great wine selection and one of the nicer bar layouts in town.  Plus after dinner you can see who's playing at the House.

  8. Heaven on Seven

Good Cajun food.  There are some vegetarian items on the menu.

If you can go to the original place on Wabash go there (111 N Wabash)  There is a place on Rush -not sure of that address.

  9. The Olive Garden?  Does this person go out EVER?

The obvious is Ed Debevic's, but it is played in my opinion.  What kind of fun are you talking about?  d**k's Last Resort is fun if you like seafood (mainly) the place is LOUD and lots of fun.  Navy Pier has a lot of beer gardens and restaurants, and there is entertainment all the time.

  10. go to the wiener's circle

    2622 N Clark St

    it is awesome!!
