  1. dave and busters

  2. Go to a nice restaurant then go to a club!

  3. If you took me to a mall, especially the horrible looking Block at Orange, I would never go out with you again.

Balboa Fun Zone in Newport Beach would be a nice casual place to go. You can ride the ferris wheel, get drinks and dinner at the many bars and restaurants around there or just get a chocolate dipped banana. They are very popular there. You can take a 45 minute or 90 minute harbor cruise for $11 or $17 per person and you get to see the oceanfront celebrity homes. sea lions, big yachts, etc. Make reservations if you want to take the tour and watch the sun set over the water.

If you get bored at the Fun Zone you can ride the ferry over to Balboa Island. They have more bars, shopping and restaurants, but it's a bit more upscale. It's always fun to walk along the water and look at the homes.

Both of the websites below include pictures and include a list of activities, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.

  4. 1>>OC Fair or casual but all day date (it might be over this year tho)

2>>Block of Orange: HUGE casual outdoor mall.  There is x*x Bowling where u could bowl & drink alcohol. They have D&B as well.  They have alot of interesting stores to walk around and laugh about. (ie. hobby shop, pet shop, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf, AMC theater). Good place for movie, dinner, & coffee.  Pretty big place.. Be prepared to walk.

3>>Irvine Spectrum: casual outdoor mall.  They have a farris wheel.  They have free out-door performances sometimes.  Their decor outside is quiet architectural if u like those mood.  More "sparkly" place to walk around then #2 coz of their light decor.  Good place for movie & a dinner.

4>>Fashion Island: casual outdoor mall.  They have an outdoor Koi pond. So go during the day time.  Quaint place to meet up for a coffee or for lunch.

5>>South Coast Plaza: HUGE indoor mall. Good place to walk around and take her shopping, then have a fancy looking dinner.  Whatever stores in cosmo or vogue magazine could probably found here.  They have food costing as low as $1 in McDonalds to high end like $60/steak.  Warning though, the mall is about 2 blocks so be prepared to walk.

All of the above have fancy places to eat, fun places to walk.

I personally love catching a movie at AMC at the Block then walk around the stores while talking (i mean, who wouldn't want to check out adorable puppies w/ ur man?).  Another favorite place is SCP.  It's a cool place to escape heat and they have fancy restaurants (warning: be prepared to spend some dough).

If you come out to LA though, there are plenty of things to do too.  For example, Fat Fish serves their sushi on a conveyer belt.  U pick out a plate u want and they charge u by the color coded dishes u finish.

If u want good sushi but may be not so much entertaining, there's Amai Sushi.  It would be closer to you and after dinner, swing over to DownTown Disney to watch fireworks by 9:30PM. (of course, they have fun places to eat at downtown disney too..but Amai Sushi has better sushi)

If you want to party in Hollywood nightclub on Friday nights, MSG me & come to Vanguard.  I'll hook u guys up.
