Fun activities for a family?

Question

I need some fun activities that don't cost a lot of money that someone could do in the country or city. I live in the country but we're picking up my niece in the city.

Not movies or zoo or anything like that.

Family of 5, me, 14, my mom, my two nieces, 6 & 8 and nephew, 7.

Some fun stuff such as roast over bbq etc?

No fires though because it's illegal right now.

how about a picnic in the park then after wards you could play frisbee or kickball or just swing on the swings
