Fun activities for the kids??

The past week or so at our house has been really lazy, and we've just been home watching TV most of the time. Now I just want to get them up and doing other activities besides TV. I don't really feel like taking them out anywhere. And we haven't been having the greatest weather either. So, what are easy, cheap, and not messy activities for the kids?? And I need to occupy kids aged 3-8 years old. Thanks! xD

  1. hmm I am 12 so i know what kids like. if any are girls and still into this sort of thing, try setting up a barbie town extravaganza! i know that always cheered me up when I was into pretending. you could also set up a fort out of couch cushions. or if they are more mature, try setting up a bunch of board games. they might like that. or another thing to do is if you have any pets try playing with them. OR here is a all-time favorite of mine: hide and go seek. maybe not the most creative but i used to love that game! heck, i still do! anyway, good luck i hope at least some of this helps!

  2. Have a puppet show. First make some puppets out of old socks, using buttons for eyes, draw on the mouth with a marker and have some fun. Or have a talent show. Dress up and sing to the radio, act out a scene of a movie, etc. Or have a treasure hunt. Make up a bunch of cards with several items on them...different ones for each card given (examples on the cards would be like a hairbrush, a Q-tip, scotch tape, etc) and watch the fun begin. Play charades, using easy ones for kids. Convert your living room into one giant fort, covering furniture with blankets and such, then go inside and tell stories to each other. Lots of different things you can do, good luck and have fun.

  3. Soccer is always the answer.
